Weed Control

First application will be June 14^th.  Additional treatments as needed.  The cove is treated monthly.

Click here for weed treatment information.  Watch for treatment notices posted along the waterfront of your property advising of swimming, fishing, and lawn watering restrictions.

  Goose Control

The 2023 Canada Goose round up is cancelled statewide due to High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).  Nest destruction and egg harvesting activities are complete.  All Geese remaining on the lake will have to be tolerated this year.

The geese will be humanely removed from the lake area.  We contract Goose Busters for this activity and comply with all State of Michigan requirements.   Click here for Goose control information.

We may need access to water front properties for round up, and trust that members will support us in this effort by allowing brief access early in the morning.

Fishing Contest

Friday, June 23^rd through
Friday, June 30^th

Daily weigh in 6:30 - 8:30 PM or whenever the windsock is flying at the SE shore (Heights)

Trophy presentation on the island
Sunday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM

Venetian Lights Boat Parade

Saturday, TBD

• Meet at the island at 7pm in your boat or pontoon.  Your boat can be lit up and/or decorated, or not.  No set theme has been chosen.  A parade around the lake will begin thereafter.  OR,

• Decorate your dock or lakefront area with lights.  OR,

• Do both!!
