Runyan Lake Inc. (RLI) wants to make your online experience
satisfying, safe, and informative. Our aim is to safeguard the privacy and security of your
personal information while providing services that meet your individual needs.
At all times we will comply with the prevailing laws and regulations governing
the confidentiality and security of information. In general, you can visit
this site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about

What information do we obtain about you and what do we
use it for?
Runyan Lake Inc. collects information from you directly, and about you and your
property from Tyrone Township and Livingston County public records, to administrate the
duties and obligations of Runyan Lake Inc., operating as a Summer Resort
Corporation under authority of Michigan Public Act 137 of 1929, and Michigan
Public Act 44 of 2006, as amended. Depending on the services which you
are accessing, utilizing, benefiting from, or may benefit from, you may be
requested to provide personal information such as your name, address, e-mail
address, proxy voting preferences, petition signatures, watercraft information,
water well information, or other information as
may be required from time to time for use by Runyan Lake Inc. We use this information to maintain
your property record(s) within our member database, to assess dues and/or special
assessments, to file liens, to process and/or comply with permits, to communicate with you, and to perform other actions as
needed to administer, maintain, and protect your membership in Runyan lake Inc.
Information on file may be required to be maintained or disclosed in accordance with
current legislation.
Runyan Lake Inc. will use personally identifiable
information voluntarily submitted to us to respond to requests you make of us or
to contact you in connection with your requests.
We will not use your personal information for any purpose for which
you would not reasonably expect us to use it. Limited contact information may be
used, with your permission, to facilitate coordination or participation in Runyan Lake Inc. events, to facilitate the roles and responsibilities of a trustee, in
conjunction with a classified ad posting, or in conjunction with the Runyan Lake
Heights Association and Runyan Lake Point Property Owners Association websites
contained within the Runyan Lake Inc. website. We will not share your
personal information
with other companies, corporations, or persons not directly affiliated with Runyan Lake Inc., unless required by law, without your express permission.
We will not
sell or disclose your personal information to anyone for unsolicited marketing
purposes. All
communication with you will be limited to the business of Runyan Lake Inc., the
neighborhood associations within the Runyan Lake Inc. territory, or involve
issues that may directly affect you as a member of Runyan Lake Inc.
Accessing and Updating your Information
We strive to ensure that all information we
have on file about you is accurate. As part of the annual dues statement mailed
to you each January we provide you with the information we have on file about you, and
request any inaccuracies be corrected, or that missing information be provided. If
you find any inaccuracies we will delete those or correct them promptly.
Communication with you and/or services normally provided by Runyan Lake Inc. may be impeded
or limited if the information we have on file is inadequate or inaccurate.
You may request a copy of the information we have on file about you by writing
to us at our address or by
emailing us. Requests must be in writing and will be returned in
writing to your address of record to ensure your identity.
To update your personal contact or watercraft information, or to update any
other information
you believe Runyan Lake Inc. may have in its possession
or that
you deem important, please

us, or write to us at our address,
and include your current information along with the information you would like
to have updated.
Unsubscribing from Emails
If at any
time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include
unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Additionally, you
may
unsubscribe here. Please keep in mind emails are the quickest
and most cost efficient way for us to communicate with you.
Security Precautions
We employ certain physical, technical, and procedural security measures to protect your
personal information and to ensure that information is not accessed by unauthorized
persons. Our website is held on secure servers and is encrypted wherever
possible. Your personal information, including your email address, is utilized
and stored in an offline location and cannot be accessed through our website or rom an online
location. The Runyan Lake Inc. member database can only be accessed and used by
certain trustees of Runyan Lake Inc. We undergo periodic reviews of our
security policies and procedures to ensure that our systems are secure and
that your information is protected to the best of our ability. However,
due to the inherent insecurity of the Internet, no security measures should be
viewed as one hundred percent effective in all circumstances. Runyan Lake Inc.
cannot absolutely guarantee against a breach of its security or the actions of
third parties that may seek to obtain unauthorized access to personal
information.

In order to improve the quality of our website and services, we may from time to
